About Charity Bridge Fund
Our Mission
Give nonprofits a voice, connect donors to their impact, and make giving our shared purpose.
Why Charity Bridge Fund Was Created
Charity Bridge Fund was launched to assist nonprofits struggling to sustain vital programs after sudden government defunding, while empowering donors with the knowledge and tools to make informed, meaningful contributions in today’s fast-changing environment.
Formerly JustGive, a trusted giving platform that has connected donors to causes since 1999 and raised over $600 million, Charity Bridge Fund provides a centralized, nonpartisan resource to identify and support nonprofits most impacted by these funding losses.
We maintain the first consolidated database of defunded charities, highlighting:
Which programs lost government support
The amount of funding withdrawn
The urgent needs going forward
Through real-time giving opportunities, transparent impact stories, and trusted research, we make it simple for donors to connect with nonprofits where their support is needed most. Whether it’s a small gift or a major contribution, every donation helps bridge the gap and sustain critical services.
Together, we can close the gap and strengthen the social sector.
Our Core Values
We believe in the power of together. When we live our shared values, we achieve more than any one of us could alone.
Unite people for the common good.
Lead with optimism and show what’s possible.
Turn understanding into action.
Build trust through honesty and transparency.
Achieve more when we work together.
Focus on what matters and take action.

Daniel is a Senior Software Developer with over 25 years of experience building secure, scalable, and cloud-forward software solutions. A .NET specialist and Azure enthusiast, he is known for transforming complex technical challenges into systems that are clean, dependable, and built to grow. He has played key roles in application modernization efforts, helping organizations embrace cloud infrastructure, improve performance, and unlock new capabilities through thoughtful engineering.
For the past 15 years, Daniel has worked in the nonprofit sector, helping a mission-driven organization transition from aging architecture to a modern cloud-native experience. His contributions include introducing contemporary frameworks, improving authentication and data integrations, and increasing resilience and scalability — ensuring the technology could support a rapidly expanding community and broader social impact.
Earlier in his career, Daniel developed risk-management software used by adult and juvenile probation programs across the country. His engineering work supported fair assessment practices and more informed decision-making, contributing to public-safety initiatives while also helping caseworkers focus on rehabilitation and positive outcomes. That experience strengthened his belief that technology is at its best when it empowers people.
Outside the world of APIs and deployments, Daniel brings that same drive for growth to his personal life. He’s an avid music lover who finds joy in always having music on. He gardens and raises quail at home, tending a small backyard ecosystem that rewards patience and care — a fitting reflection of his approach to building software: nurture what works, prune what doesn’t, and always keep an eye toward long-term flourishing. And when he’s not at home working with his hands or his instruments, Daniel loves traveling with his wife — exploring new places across the U.S. and around the world, always in search of good food, new adventures, and fresh perspectives.

Michael is a Software Developer and Technology Architect with more than two decades of global experience. He designs and builds technology systems that support charitable organizations, guided by a belief in community, fairness, and the value of helping one another.
At Charity Bridge Fund, he leads the architecture and development of the organization’s main technology platform. The system helps non-profit organizations that have faced government budget cuts share how those cuts are affecting their programs. It also connects these organizations with donors who want to help fill the funding gap. His work focuses on creating scalable, thoughtful systems that enable CBF to deliver on its mission.
Over the course of his career, Michael has worked across the world, from London to Auckland, developing technology for large financial institutions and software companies. Kendall is a pioneer in online philanthropy, with over 25 years shaping how individuals, nonprofits, and companies engage in charitable giving.
As the Founder of JustGive, Kendall launched one of the very first nonprofit donation platforms on the web in 2000. Under her leadership, JustGive became a trusted partner for donors, nonprofits, and corporations—building the infrastructure that made generosity more accessible, transparent, and impactful.
Kendall’s passion for service began early. As a Harvard undergraduate, she co-founded WorldTeach, a global education nonprofit. After early career roles at Goldman Sachs and the World Bank, she volunteered in Uganda, deepening her commitment to international development. Later, as part of the founding team at More.com, she saw firsthand the transformative potential of the Internet—a realization that inspired her to build digital tools for philanthropy.
Today, as Executive Director of Charity Bridge Fund, Kendall continues this work—guiding the organization through its next chapter. She remains at the forefront of digital giving, forging partnerships, advising on donation infrastructure, and ensuring that generosity continues to evolve in ways that empower both donors and nonprofits.
Beyond her leadership in philanthropy, Kendall is also a trained EMT, serving actively in her community for over five years. She volunteers regularly at the Americares health clinic in Bridgeport, CT, where she combines her skills in emergency medicine with her deep commitment to service and impact.
